Dermal fillers can improve facial harmony by creating a sculpted jawline.
Jawline treatment creates a longer, pronounced profile whilst enhancing the overall balance and symmetry of the lower face.
This can lead to a slimming effect on the neck area, lifting the skin and forming that beautiful arc under the chin.
All cosmetic injectable treatments performed by experienced injectors.
Most clients are candidates for jawline dermal filler treatment, however patients with rounder faces will not get the same result as someone with a sharper jawline. We are honest in clinic and will tell you what sort of result you can expect.
Being suitable depends on multiple factors of anatomy, the main thing being facial shape. The sharper and smaller the face the bigger the result, the rounder and bigger the neck the less noticeable the result will be. Other factors include the depth of tissue, blood vessels, skin integrity and other systemic issues with health.
During the consult you will be able to discuss your medical history with your doctor.
This will help your doctor to advise on the best treatment for your jawline.
You will not be able to have jawline dermal filler treatment if any of the following apply to you:
Pregnant or Breastfeeding.
Signs of skin infection.
Systemically unwell patient.
Previous allergic reactions.
Under the age of 18 years.
Doctor believes you will not be suitable for treatment.
Doctor believes it will not meet patients’ expectations.
Patients without authorisation from their treating specialists in certain medical conditions.
Treating the jawline with dermal filler, can help lift the lower parts of the face, whilst also creating a natural contour along the jawline bone.
People love to have a sharp jawline that helps alleviate the jowls from sagging.
Enhancing the jawline can give a youthful appearance, whilst not looking like you have had dermal fillers.
Dermal fillers are made up of hyaluronic acid, which are a naturally occurring substance in the human body. Dermal filler also contains lidocaine which is an anaesthetic to make it comfortable when injected into the skin.
Dermal filler (hyaluronic acid) is responsible for attracting and holding water within the skin, giving the skin a plump and fullness to it.
Over time our bodies metabolise hyaluronic acid causing the skin to look aged, this causes loss of firmness and lifting within the face. Sunken and sagging skin are the key features of ageing causing loss in volume.
Dermal filler (hyaluronic acid) is the most common procedure to correct volume loss in the face. Typically, there is little downtime and at a fraction of the cost, compared to a fat transfer into the face or a facelift.
Initially during the consultation, your doctor will discuss Jawline dermal filler treatment options and outcomes.
If you would like treatment during the consultation this can be done.
Depending on the area and the facial structure a needle or cannula may be used for jawline dermal filler treatment. The chin dermal filler treatment works well with jawline filler creating a nice projection whilst also tightening the skin along the jawline.
We have 3 different dermal fillers for the jawline region, for a firm of softer look. We use multiple techniques in order to get the best results for you. This is dependent on your anatomy and predicted outcomes. All 3 dermal filler are different in their ability to blend within the jawline and chin region.
Sometimes it best to treat the cheek area to lift the jowls and create a better jawline, whilst also gaining a nice contour on the cheek.
Jawline dermal filler treatments are tolerable without numbing cream or local anaesthetic prior to treatment.
All types of dermal fillers in clinic have lidocaine (numbing) within the dermal filler to make it comfortable.
Treatment takes between 15 - 30 mins.
After the injections are completed, the doctor will discuss aftercare and how to contact clinic if you have any questions or concerns.

Jawline dermal filler results are variable amongst all patients, the smaller the face and sharper the jawline the better the result. The rounder the face and bigger the neck the less of a result will be seen.
Sometimes in order to do jawline dermal filler its best to combine it with the chin dermal filler. Projection in the lower face will always work better when the areas are balanced, this can be performed with dermal filler.
A common dislike amongst clients are the jowls and treating them, I would call it tightening the loose skin or lifting this region. This can be done so in a few different treatments, but the jawline, cheek, and chin play a large role in treating the jowls region.
Other clients choose jawline dermal filler to create a sharp distinct jawline this is for patients that already have a sharper and more noted jawline.
Jawline dermal filler takes time to settle, it can take up to 4 weeks to see the best results.
The biggest question is lumps and bumps from jawline filler, we will show you how to smooth out lips with rubbing with cream from chin the corner of your jaw. These lumps settle over 2 - 4 weeks. they aren’t noticeable to anyone else, but you can feel them.
Bruising from jawline filler can occur but unlikely compared to tear trough or lip filler treatments.
Tenderness can be felt along the jawline for up to 4 weeks, especially when pressed. this is rare but it does happen. The pain is very tolerable, but you can feel it.
