In this video I share a little about my time in Thailand with my wife and our twins. Watching the kids grow has been the biggest blessing of my life. Trudy has the cutest little squeal and giggle that melts your heart, and Johnny is such a chip off the old block, with so many traits that remind me of myself.

But what I am most proud of is not clinics, farms or money. It is the environment my wife, our nanny, and grandma have created for our children. Our kids live in a space where they never see yelling, fighting or negativity. Instead they are surrounded by cousins, uncles, aunties, and grandparents who all celebrate love, attention and connection. Even the smallest moments, like a kiss on the cheek, are celebrated together.

Now that the twins are one, I reflect more on how important attachment and positive surroundings are for children. Of course we all need money, a roof over our heads and food on the table, but beyond that it is the safe and loving environment that shapes who they become.

To me, this is the true measure of life. Helping create children who grow up as kind, caring and loving human beings is more meaningful than anything else. I feel so lucky to have my family and to watch these little personalities grow.
