Your general skin complexion is a large key to feeling and looking good, clear skin, small pores, even texture, and general colour and complexion make up a large part of feeling good without looking like you have had treatment. Men of all ages 18 - 70 get great benefits to skin complexion and texture if the right treatment is used for their skin type.

We don't expect you to know, that’s why we do a skin analysis so we can help guide you on making decisions that get great results.

We have a no obligation consultation, in which we use the observe520 to look at your skin and see what is going on beneath. Looking after your skin is an investment, improving this will reward you in the years to come.

In the following FAQ's we are going to break down the observe520 skin analysis machine, and then follow on with our 2 categories of ablative laser (downtime due to redness, swelling, skin peeling) and non-ablative (no downtime due to above effects).

The choice between the two are individual's choice, however for best short term and overall long results 3 -5 days downtime is well worth it in the short term and long term.

What is non ablative laser rejuvenation?

Non-ablative skin rejuvenation uses a laser to improve the appearance of wrinkles, brown spots and minor scars by creating heat in the skin without injuring the surface of the skin.

The heat generated by the laser promotes collagen production which causes the skin to tighten and look young and healthy.

Nonablative lasers often are fractionated so they deliver heat into the skin through thousands of tiny, deep columns known as microthermal treatment zones with intervening normal untreated skin.

The fractional approach allows the skin to heal much faster than if the entire area was treated. This approach lessens the recovery period and reduces the number of complications that can occur.

Multiple sessions are needed in most cases.

Treatment indications for non ablative laser?

  • Age spots
  • Scars
  • Sun-damaged skin
  • Wrinkles

Compared to ablative resurfacing its going to take many treatments ignorer to get the same result, however you will not have the downtime and will be able to return to normal work immediately.

We can help guide you during your initial consult on which is best for you, we want to get he best results but also want to make sure the laser treatments is suited to each individual.

Skin resurfacing - Ablative (Laser with downtime):

1. Fractional laser

2. Laser peel

3. Nano fractional radio frequency

How does ablative laser skin resurfacing work?

An intense beam of light energy (laser) is directed at your skin. The laser beam destroys the outer layer of skin (epidermis). At the same time, the laser heats the underlying skin (dermis), which stimulates collagen production over time, resulting in better skin tone and texture. The results keep improving even after the treatment has been performed, months later.

What is the difference between ablative or non-ablative laser better?

Ablative laser skin treatments are far more invasive than non-ablative laser treatments, since they work by removing outer skin layers. These lasers are better for treating more severe aging symptoms like deeper lines and wrinkles, large pores, acne scars, and severe discoloration. Generally its going to improve your overall skin complexion and texture, giving you a more youthful and fresh complexion.
